Project: Assessing Population Dynamics, Genetics, and Breeding Patterns of Threatened Mountain Ungulates (DBT Funded)
1. Senior Project Associate
• No. of Positions: 1
• Monthly Emoluments: ₹42,000 + 16% HRA
• Age Limit: 40 years
• Project Duration: 3 years
• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Wildlife Sciences or Ph.D. in Forestry/Zoology/Veterinary Sciences & AH with proven wildlife research experience.
• Desirable: Prior experience in ungulate ecology, molecular work, GIS/RS data analysis, modeling, and data analytics.
• Role: Conduct field surveys, camera trapping, molecular and genomic analysis, report writing, conservation plan development, etc.
2. Project Associate II
• No. of Positions: 3
• Monthly Emoluments: ₹31,000 + HRA (NET Qualified); ₹25,000 + HRA (Non-NET)
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Project Duration: 3 years
• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Wildlife Science/Biodiversity Studies or M.Sc. in Forestry/Zoology/Veterinary Sciences & AH with relevant experience.
• Desirable: UGC/CSIR NET qualification preferred.
3. Technical Assistant
• No. of Positions: 3
• Monthly Emoluments: ₹20,000 + 16% HRA
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Project Duration: 3 years
• Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Agricultural/Allied/Natural Sciences with willingness for extensive fieldwork.
• Desirable: Master’s in Wildlife Sciences/Forestry/Zoology with relevant field and molecular research experience.
