Government Medical College, Udhampur invites applications from eligible candidates for various positions on an academic arrangement basis under S.O. 364 dated 27.11.2020. The tenure is initially for one year, extendable up to three years based on satisfactory performance.

Essential Qualifications
• MBBS from a recognized institution (Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission approved).
• Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) or higher qualification in the relevant discipline is mandatory.
Age Limit
• Maximum age: 50 years (as of the application cut-off date).
Application Process
• Last Date to Apply: 24th December 2024 (by 4:00 PM).
• Application Fee: ₹500 (non-refundable), payable via bank draft in favor of Principal, Government Medical College, Udhampur at J&K Bank.

3. Attempt certificates for MBBS (all years).
4. MCI/NMC or State Medical Council registration certificate.
5. Internship completion certificate.
6. Academic merit certificates, distinctions, or honors.
7. House-job (Junior Resident) certificate.
8. FMGE certificate (if applicable).
9. Publications in standard medical journals (if any).
Selection Criteria
• Eligibility and Selection Process:
Based on Government Orders No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024 (dated 20.06.2024) and 282-JK(HME) of 2023 (dated 04.04.2023).
Terms and Conditions
1. Salary as per S.O. 364 of 2020.
2. Maximum tenure: 3 years. No further extension will be granted.
3. Documents will be verified for authenticity. If found invalid, the application will be rejected.
4. Candidates must provide an affidavit agreeing to complete the tenure period without leaving mid-way.
5. Tenure appointments do not confer any preferential rights for regular appointment.
