Job Openings: Past Champion Athletes as Coaches/Mentors at J&K Sports Council
The Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council invites applications from domiciles of J&K for the engagement of past champion athletes as Coaches/Mentors under the Khelo India Scheme to strengthen the sports ecosystem at the grassroots level.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Individual Sports (Preference Order)
• 1st Preference: Represented India in recognized international competitions under a recognized NSF/Association.
• 2nd Preference: Medal winner in Senior National Championships/Khelo India Games/AIU National Championships.
• 3rd Preference: Representation in Senior National Championships/Khelo India Games.
2. Team Sports (Preference Order)
• Similar criteria as above but applicable to team sports.
3. Additional Requirements
• Maximum age: 40 years (Relaxation of 1 year for candidates with international representation).
• Minimum academic qualification: Matriculation.
• Coaching experience recognized by Government/NSF/UT Associations.
Selection Criteria

Sports Achievements 20 Points based on medal/participation levels.
Educational Qualification 05 Post-Graduation: 5, Graduation: 3, etc.
Coaching Experience 05 Based on years of experience.
Technical Qualifications 10 NIS Diploma: 10, NIS Certificate: 5.
Interview/Viva 10 Performance in interview.
Terms and Conditions
1. Engagement is purely temporary and does not confer any regularization rights.
2. Selected candidates will sign an agreement/MOU with J&K Sports Council.
3. Minimum 30 trainees must be coached under each mentor.
4. Maximum remuneration: ₹3,00,000 per year.
