Applications are invited on prescribed format from the eligible candidates who are domicile of UT of J&K, for engagement as Guest Faculty for the academic session Nov-Dec 2023 for the below mentioned discipline:-

Minimum qualification
B.Tech/BE in Automobile Engg. from a recognised university/institute. (In case there is no applicant having B. Tech/B.E. Automobile Engg. then applicant having B. Tech/ B.E. in Mechanical Engg. shall be considered). in case no applicant from above qualification applies then applicant with Diploma in Automobile Engg. may be considered.
The application on prescribed format (available on www.govtpolytechnicsamba.org) accompanied with self-attested copies of the following documents must reach the office of the undersigned by or before 04.10.2023 and no application shall be entertained after the said date in any case-
- Academic/ Technical Qualification. (Certificate/Mark sheets)
- Domicile Certificate.
- D.O.B. Certificate.
- Experience Certificate, if any.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:- - The engagement shall be purely on guest faculty norms and shall be only for one academic session i.e. Nov-Dec only.
- The selected candidates shall have to submit Undertaking/Affidavit duly authenticated by the First Class Magistrate before joining wherein clearly indicating that he/she shall not claim for continuation/regularization of his/her services after the completion of said session and shall follow all rules & regulations of the institute.
- Selection shall be made purely on merit basis, 80 Points for basic eligibility qualification (pro-rata basis), 05 Points for higher qualification, 05 Points for GATE/NET/SET, 05 Points for teaching experience (Polytechnic Diploma level or higher level prorata basis (01) point for each academic year), 05 Points for interaction with concerned applicant. 4. The remuneration for the guest faculty shall be Rs.750/- per lecture/hour, subject to a maximum of Rs. 20,000/month.
