Government Medical College (GMC) Doda invites applications from Non-PSC and Retired Medical Professionals for faculty positions on an academic arrangement basis, in accordance with S.O 364 dated 27-11-2020. The initial appointment is for three years for Professors and Associate Professors and one year for Assistant Professors, extendable up to a maximum of six years based on satisfactory performance and conduct or until regular selection is completed as per recruitment rules.
Eligibility Criteria & Conditions
• Category: Non-PSC/Retired Medical Professionals
• Maximum Age: 67 years at the time of application
Available Positions & Requirements
Professor
• Specializations: Anatomy, Anaesthesia, Community Medicine, ENT, and other departments based on availability.
• Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 13 years as an Associate and Assistant Professor combined in an NMC-recognized institution.
• Research: Minimum of 4 publications, with at least 2 as an Associate Professor.
Associate Professor
• Specializations: Radiodiagnosis, Pathology, General Medicine, TB & Respiratory Disease, among others.
• Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 9 years as an Assistant Professor in an NMC-recognized institution.
• Research: At least 2 publications required.
Assistant Professor
• Specializations: Physiology, Psychiatry, Gynaecology, etc.
• Qualifications:
• Degree: MD/MS/DNB (higher qualifications preferred).
• Experience: At least 2 years as a Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor/Registrar in the specific subject area.
