Job Opportunity: Project Associate – I at School of Biotechnology, University of Jammu
The School of Biotechnology, University of Jammu, invites applications for Project Associate – I positions under the DBT-funded research project titled “DBT BUILDER University of Jammu Interdisciplinary Life Science Programme for Advanced Research and Education”. This is a temporary position, co-terminus with the project duration.
Position Details
• Name & Number of Positions: Project Associate – I (2 positions)
• Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry or related fields from a recognized University.
• Desirable Qualification:
• Experience in handling microbial techniques and instrumentation.
• Experience in purchase/handling of scientific equipment, data handling, and documentation.
• Monthly Emoluments:
• Rs. 31,000/- per month + 16% HRA for candidates qualified through:
• National Eligibility Tests CSIR-UGC NET including lecturership (Assistant Professorship), or
• GATE, or
• A selection process through National level Examinations conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
• Rs. 25,000/- per month + 16% HRA for others.
• Upper Age Limit: 35 years
