Details of Engagement
• Tenure: Initially for one year, extendable up to six years based on performance or until regular selection/promotion as per recruitment rules.
• Eligibility:
• Domicile: Must be a resident of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
• Maximum Age: 63 years at the time of application submission.
• Qualification & Experience: As prescribed under S.O 364 of 2020, Government Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023, and SRO 426 of 2012.

• Mode of Application: Online submission via IGGDC Jammu Recruitment Portal.
• Application Fee: ₹500 (Non-refundable)
• Application Dates: 20.11.2024 to 05.12.2024 (up to 5:00 PM).
Documents to be Uploaded:
1. Date of Birth Certificate (10th Diploma).
2. BDS Degree and Marks Sheets from DCI-recognized institution.
3. Internship Completion Certificate.
4. Attempt Certificate (University-issued).
5. MDS Degree (Relevant Specialty).
6. J&K Dental Council Registration and Renewal Certificate.
7. Affidavit from 1st Class Magistrate confirming non-government service and authenticity of uploaded documents.
8. Domicile Certificate.
9. Aadhar and PAN Cards.
10. Recent Passport Size Photograph.
11. Any other document as requested by the selection committee.
Note: All documents must be self-attested, legible, and arranged in the specified order. Illegible or misprinted documents will not be considered.
Additional Requirements for Selection:
1. Teaching Experience: Experience as Professor/Associate Professor in a Government/recognized institution.
2. Research Publications: Minimum of four publications, including at least two as Associate Professor, indexed in recognized journals.
3. Presentations: Oral and poster presentations in relevant national/international events, with published abstracts.
4. Authored Books/Chapters: Credits for authorship of relevant books/chapters as first, second, or third author.
5. Achievements: Recognition such as a Gold Medal in BDS.
Terms & Conditions:
• Salary: As per S.O 364 of 2020.
• Engagement Basis: Academic arrangement only, with no claim to regular appointment.
• Verification: All credentials will be verified; discrepancies may lead to cancellation and potential criminal proceedings.
• Duties: Engaged staff will focus on teaching and research without administrative roles.
• Agreement: Selected candidates must execute an agreement with the government as per the prescribed format.
